The British School of Guangzhou is located north of the city, 25 minutes drive from the centre (Tianhe) and commands spectacular views into Nanhu Lake and its green sorroundings. The school is in close proximity to prominent expatriate residential compounds, and operates 14 bus routes, designed to reduce the time students spend traveling to/from school

The international school is housed in 2 separate campuses, only a few minutes walk from one another; catering for our Infant and Upper School students. Both offer modern and smart interior and exterior environments, with playgrounds and sports facilities that are age appropriate, safe and enjoyable for our children. The facilities on offer match that of any top international school, not only in terms of the quality that is on offer, but also in how it enhances the education we provide.

All classrooms are generously resourced and equipped to meet English National Curriculum standards, making use of state-of-the-art technologies, such as Interactive White Boards (standard in all classrooms). Specialist classrooms include: 2 IT rooms, 2 Music rooms with 5 practice suites, 2 Libraries with separate reading rooms, Laboratory and 6 Chinese/ESL language rooms.

BSG has two exceptionally well resources libraries, covering a total area of over 500m2, with a wide selection of books and resources imported form the UK. The Libraries are complemented with computers for reference, cinema display and reading areas to encourage the love of books.

The British School of Guangzhou has exceptionally well equipped playgrounds, combining a selection of climbing frames, hard-court and rubber surfaces and a clear differentiation between children of different ages. The school also bosts a state-of-the-art indoor playground area for rainy days.

The school is very proud of its new theatre, which was put to good use with the first assembly of the year. The auditorium is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and video display systems, and enables our students and parents to experience plays, music and drama events in an enjoyable and comfortable manner.

With over 22.000 m2 of open playground, students at BSG enjoy the use of 4 age-appropiate basketball courts, 3 mid-sized football pitches, an indoor basketball court/gym, an infant's indoor football pitch and use of a top class swimming pool complex with varying pool sizes and depths.
